Since 1973, the doctors at Arnold Chiropractic Life Center, in Hiram Georgia, have been "Participating Providers" with Medicare. If you have Medicare, we will gladly file your insurance claims directly to Medicare or any other Medicare replacement policy for all covered services. If you have a supplemental insurance plan that covers deductables or copays, we will file those claims for you as well.
What does it mean to be a "Participating Provider" with Medicare? It simply means that we have chosen to agree to fee schedule that is less than our standard fees for covered services. This saves you money. It also means we have agreed to wait on payment from Medicare for covered services that have been provided instead of patients paying in full at the time of service. It makes it easy for you, and we think the Medicare beneficiaries deserved it.
As far as chiropractic care is concerned, Medicare only covers the chiropractic adjustment to correct or improve spinal subluxation. It does not cover any other services that are provided by a chiropractor. Chiropractic spinal x-rays, examinations, or therapy are not covered. Maintenance care, wellness care or supportive care are also non covered services. Some supplemental plans may provide benefits for these.
